licensed-tx is a free directory that republishes Texas occupational-licensing records from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). It lets the public look up and verify the license status of HVAC and electrical contractors in Texas.

The license data is sourced from TDLR and refreshed on a regular schedule, but it may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. licensed-tx is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Always confirm a license directly with TDLR before relying on it for an important decision.

You may use licensed-tx for personal and commercial verification purposes. You may not scrape the site at scale, attempt to disrupt it, misrepresent the data, or use it to harass any individual.

licensed-tx is nota consumer reporting agency as defined by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., and the information it provides is not a consumer report. The records here come from public TDLR sources for general informational and verification purposes only.

You may not use this site or any of its data, in whole or in part, to make decisions about:

• ·a person's eligibility for employment;
• ·credit or insurance underwriting or eligibility;
• ·housing, tenancy, or rental decisions;
• ·any other purpose covered by the FCRA or any similar state or local law.

The disciplinary and enforcement records shown are republished verbatim from public TDLR Administrative Orders and may be delayed, superseded, or corrected by TDLR. They are not an assessment of any person's character or fitness. Always confirm against the official TDLR record, and see our correction and opt-out process.

Some features — such as featured listings and license-expiration alerts — are paid. Those purchases are also governed by our refund policy. Buying a featured listing does not change, hide, or influence the underlying license record in any way.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, licensed-tx and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. We may update them from time to time and will revise the date above when we do.
